Anna Ross-Davies is an International Grand Prix dressage rider and freelance trainer based on the Herts/Bucks borders.
She has represented Great
Britain in Grand Prix's all over the world including amongst many others at the European Championships, the Aachen CDIO (twice) , The Artic Games, the Saumur CDIO, on the World Cup Circuit, and has twice ridden at the World Championships for young horses.
In
2007 Anna was the highest placed British Team rider at the European
Championships, helping team G.B secure qualification for the Beijing
Olympics. In 2008 she won 3 international Grand Prix's and was the non travelling reserve for Beijing. In 2009 she was the highest placed British rider in the Small Tour final of the Sunshine tour.
Anna trained for five years with the German Olympic Champion Ulla Salzgeber and was based in Germany for two of these and in 2009 went to train at with Jean Bemelmans at Dr Schulten Baumer's stables.
In 2007 Anna received the British Equestrian Award for outstanding achievment in Dressage and was presented with the Davison Award at Olympia. In 2008 she was the British Dressage Personality of the Year.
Anna
takes horses and riders for training and enjoys teaching a wide and successful
client base all over the UK (see Training and Events page for clinic details) She
also compiles music for dressage, writes articles about Dressage
training and competition and been published regularly in Horse and Hound and
British Dressage magazine. Anna also has a
celebrity blog on the very popular 'Horse Hero' site which chronicles daily life with her horses.
She is supported by the lottery funded World Class Programme, Belstane Marketing, Keiffer Saddles, Martin Wilkinson Saddlers and Kevin Bacon hoof products as well as her brilliant owners - Judy Firmston Williams, Andy and Beverly Brown and the Bowles family.
